Who is angi?

Angi is a dear friend of mine: a sociable, energetic person who can turn every encounter into a special moment. The home was designed to adapt to her daily routine.
She loves having friends and family over, is someone who enjoys informal and convivial settings, and takes great pleasure in hosting people in her own home. She has always dreamed of having a kitchen with an island that would allow her to interact with her guests while preparing food.

The living area
The heart of the residence is a spacious living area, conceived as an open and welcoming environment, ideal for hosting friends and fostering a relaxed, convivial atmosphere. The kitchen, a central element, is strategically positioned and designed to ensure everyone feels involved. Preparing dishes becomes a shared ritual, a moment where no one is left out and where time spent together gains even deeper meaning.

The kitchen island
The kitchen island is generated through the subtraction and addition of simple volumes, articulated into a unified and coherent composition that effectively responds to the functional requirements of the kitchen space. This compositional process also becomes a design strategy to integrate and conceal the existing structural column, transforming a structural constraint into an organizing element of the project. The column is absorbed into the island's design, contributing to the definition of solids and voids and reinforcing the formal and functional continuity of the entire space.
